Architectural Coordinator/Project Manager

We are looking for an Architectural Coordinator/Project Manager to join our multifaceted team. Candidates must be able to balance technical skills and creative aptitude in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong detailing skills are necessary, along with resourcefulness in solving problems, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to delegate and communicate effectively with our team of designers, clients and vendors. Attention to detail is key.


  • Responsible for all phases of design and seeing projects through to construction completion.
  • Project coordination with clients and consultants.
  • Engage with clients and key organizations to strengthen DCC’s presence and partnerships.
  • Produce and lead design presentations.
  • Lead and coordinate comprehensive sets of construction documents.
  • Perform quality assurance and control reviews.
  • Potential growth into a leadership role within the firm.


  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited program.
  • 6-10 years’ experience as part of a Project Team.
  • Technically proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office Pro.
  • Photoshop and Sketch-up experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding of site operations and logistics preferred.
  • Must be thorough with strong attention to detail and demonstrate exemplary time management skills.
  • Able to work flexible a schedule to accommodate project deadlines and site operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal instruction.
  • Solid understanding of applicable building codes and FGI Guidelines, and experience in Healthcare design preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Interior Designer

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our team. This person must be self-motivated, collaborative, and confident - yet personable, as we believe client relationships are just as important as the spaces we create. The Interior Designer will be directly involved in all aspects of the design process, and therefore, must be a team player.


  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Team to understand/establish project goals and objectives including, but not limited to: work plan, schedule and budget parameters
  • Develop space plans that are responsive to and conform to the program requirements and client goals and objectives
  • Client presentations for all design phases
  • Involvement in all design phases, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation through construction administration.
  • Develop plans, elevations and architectural details that illustrate the design intent
  • Ability to manage the project consultants and coordination
  • Participate in collaborative design charrettes for all team projects
  • Daily client engagement and management


  • Bachelor’s degree in accredited program and NCIDQ certified preferred, but not required
  • 0-5 years’ experience as part of a Project Team, working with, or as, a lead designer
  • Experienced in Revit
  • Photoshop and Sketch-up experience is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent graphic skills
  • Good organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and ability to work in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, and willingness to learn and ask questions is a must

Design Intern

We are currently seeking a design intern for the summer of 2019. As a student intern for the Design team, you will be responsible for performing interior assignments to obtain professional experience.


  • Currently enrolled in an architecture or interior design program, or recently graduated
  • Previous internship in an architectural or interiors design firm preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop
