    Senior Architect

    DCC Design Group is seeking a Senior Architect with an interest and/or related experience in interior design to join our multifaceted team. DCC engages in small to large scale projects, principally in the field of Healthcare. This person will be responsible for managing and delivering the production of design development through construction documents, and will offer technical support on a range of project types to assist the design team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all phases of design, seeing projects from initial design concepts through construction completion.
    • Coordinate project development with clients and participating consultants.
    • Participate in the creation and execution of design presentations to the client.
    • Coordinate comprehensive sets of construction documents.
    • Engage with clients and key organizations to strengthen DCC’s presence and partnerships.
    • Some travel to and from site visits, client meetings and presentations.

    Capabilities + Skill Requirements:

    • 6-8 years’ experience as part of an Architectural Project Team.
    • Technical proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite.
    • Aptitude to lead a small team, preferred.
    • Understanding of site operations and logistics, preferred.
    • Thorough, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and site operations as needed.
    • Competence in applicable building codes and FGI Guidelines, preferred.
    • Healthcare experience, preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Education + Credentials:

    • Professional NAAB accredited degree in Architecture.
    • Licensed architect, or on path to licensure.

    Senior Interior Designer

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer and Planner to join our multidisciplinary team. This person must be self-motivated, collaborative and confident, and personable, as we believe client relationships are just as important as the spaces we create. DCC Design Group engages in projects of various scopes and sizes, from moderate interior fit-outs to extensive multi-phased renovation and expansion projects principally in the field of Healthcare. Our team is seeking a candidate who is passionate about all facets of design and planning, and who will thrive in our exciting, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Team to understand/establish project goals and objectives including, but not limited to: work plan, schedule, and budget parameters.
    • Create and conduct client presentations for all design phases.
    • Develop space plans that are responsive and conform to the program requirements and client’s goals and objectives.
    • Involved in all design phases, from schematic design, design development and construction documentation, through construction administration.
    • Develop plans, elevations and architectural details that illustrate the design intent.
    • Ability to manage the project consultants and coordinate the team.
    • Participate in collaborative design charrettes for all team projects.
    • Daily client engagement and management.
    • Potential growth into a leadership role within the firm.

    Capabilities + Skill Requirements:

    • 6-10 years’ experience as part of a Project Team, working with lead designer.
    • Experience in Healthcare design is strongly preferred.
    • Experienced in Revit.
    • Photoshop and Sketch-up experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Excellent graphic skills.
    • Good organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Positive attitude; willingness to learn and ask questions is a must.

    Education + Credentials:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accredited program and NCIDQ certified preferred, but not required.

    Interior Designer

    Our team is seeking a candidate who is passionate about all facets of design and planning, and who can keep up with our exciting, fast-paced environment. This person must be self-motivated, collaborative, personable, and flexible. This position requires a certain level of independence, but ultimately, our company culture is based on teamwork. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Become familiar with and prepare client presentations for all design phases.
    • Gain comprehensive knowledge of all design phases including schematic design, design development and construction documentation, through to construction administration.
    • Assist in documentation for all design phases.
    • Gain familiarity with material specifications and representatives.
    • Assist in rendering for presentations and material selections.
    • Gain knowledge in reference to casework and interior detailing.
    • Participate in collaborative design charrettes for all team projects.
    • Engage with clients and maintain a reputation of being both professional and reliable.
    • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Healthcare Design under the management of a senior designer.

    Capabilities + Skill Requirements:

    • 0-5 years’ experience as part of a Project Team, working with a lead designer.
    • Experience working in Healthcare design preferred.
    • Experienced in Revit.
    • Photoshop and InDesign experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Excellent graphic skills.
    • Good organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Positive attitude – willingness to learn and ask questions is a must.

    Design Intern

    We are currently seeking a part-time interior design intern. As an intern for the design team, you will be responsible for performing interior assignments, managing rep appointments, and maintaining the library to obtain professional experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in an architecture or interior design program, or recently graduated
    • Previous internship in an architectural or interior design firm preferred
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop
